Description

Nos 6 and 7 on Castle Street are two small timber-framed houses that were refronted in the 18th century. They stand three storeys tall and are finished in stucco with stone coping. The first floor features an overhang, and there are two sash windows with moulded architraves and intact glazing bars. The buildings have later shopfronts. The rear elevation displays two gable ends. Nos 1 to 9 and Nos 12 to 24 on Castle Street form a group with these houses.
