Description

These are two 15th-century timber-framed houses that were refronted in the 18th century, but retain some original features. The facades are stuccoed, with the ground floor rusticated and the first floor featuring long and short quoins. The first floor has an overhang supported by a moulded bressummer and brackets. A wooden eaves cornice is present, with No. 7 incorporating modillions. The roofs are tiled. Modern shop fronts and first-floor windows are present. The houses are two storeys high, with four windows each. No. 8 has an attic storey with three hipped dormers. Nos. 7 to 19A form a notable group.
