Description

This is an early to mid-19th century building on Market Street. It is three storeys high and has two windows. The front is constructed of yellow stock brick, with parts of it painted. It features a moulded cornice and blocking course. The ground floor has a shop window with five lights, featuring shallow elliptical heads and caps to the vertical glazing bars. The shop front is flanked by pilasters with capitals, and has a frieze with bracketed end-pieces and a moulded cornice above. The easternmost light of the shop window is canted inwards towards the doorway. The windows on the first floor are in reveals and have missing horizontal glazing bars. The second floor has windows similar to those on the ground floor.
