Description
The building comprises numbers 1 and 2 Market Street, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is three storeys high, with four window bays facing onto the street. Number 1 has an additional single window bay facing west, and a curved bay extends to the south, creating a corner feature. The front elevation is stuccoed and features a capped parapet. The windows are sash windows with three panes to each sash. A 19th-century shop front is present, and the shop front in number 1 curves inwards at the corner, accentuated by two cast iron columns at the entrance.
