Description

Number 13 Dogpole is a building in Shrewsbury, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with channelled stucco on the ground floor, and the roof is not visible behind the parapet eaves. The building has four storeys and features a single-window range. The late 19th-century shop front includes a central door and windows with cambered heads. The upper windows are 16-pane sashes with flat-arched gauged brick heads. Full-height segmentally-arched recesses flank the windows on the first and second floors, and there is a string course above that serves as the sill band for a low attic sash window, which is flanked by blank square panels. A gable end stack is present.
