Description
Cromwell's Hotel is a hotel that likely dates back to the late 16th century. It features a rendered exterior over a timber frame and has a plain tiled roof. The building is two stories high and has a six-window range, with a wide gable on the left and two narrow gabled dormers on the right. The main entrance is located beneath a central narrow gable and is flanked by 12-pane sash windows. There is an additional doorway at the right-hand end of the building, accompanied by another 12-pane sash window. Under the wide left-hand gable, there are two 16-pane sash windows. The upper windows are all 4-pane sashes and are spaced irregularly. Each of the small gables features small 6-pane sash windows, and all gables are adorned with barge-boards and finials. The building has a rear wall stack to the left and an axial stack to the right of the main gable.
