Description

Nos 2, 3, and 3A on East Street is a 15th-century timber-framed building that was refronted with stucco in the 18th century. It retains the overhang of its first floor at the front. The back wing features painted brick on the ground floor and plaster above, with traces of a bressumer between, although the ground floor is underbuilt. The building has a tiled roof, a modern shop front, and modern casement windows. Nos 2 and 3 are two storeys tall with two windows, while No 3A is three storeys tall with two windows and a half-hipped gable. Nos 2 to 5 form a group.
