Description
Nos 128 and 129 on High Street are a pair of small houses built around 1840. They are two storeys high and have a stucco exterior. The buildings feature a concave cornice, frieze, and parapet. Each house has one window; No 128 has a recessed sash window with later glazing bars and a block sill, while No 129 has a three-light bay window with a high wooden parapet, a plain apron, and plain strips. The shop fronts have been modernized and include elements from the late 19th century. Nos 128 to 131 form a cohesive group.
