Description

Nos. 162 and 163 on High Street are a pair of mid-18th century cottages that stand two storeys tall with rough cast and rendered fronts. They feature gable end roofs covered with old tiles and have an eaves cornice. Each cottage has one gabled dormer. No. 162 has a two-light casement window, while No. 163 boasts a well-preserved Victorian shop front with a large window made up of eight panes and panelled risers. The shop front also includes a serpentine fascia board and brackets at the sides, along with a recessed door that has panelled reveals.
