Description

Pond Cottage is a late 18th-century brick and thatch cottage located on the north side of Crawley. It is a single-story building with an attic, featuring three windows. The roof is a half-hip, with raised eaves above the upper windows, and timber framing visible in the east end gable. The brickwork is red, in English bond, incorporating some blue headers, and the ground-floor windows have cambered arches. The windows are old leaded casements, with shutters of four panels on the ground floor. A rustic porch, dating from about 1900, provides access via double boarded doors.
