Description

Pitter Cottage is a 17th-century cottage, later restored in the 20th century. It is timber-framed and thatched. The north front, which faces the road, is one storey high with an attic, and has four windows. The roof is hipped, with eaves raised above the upper windows. The timber frame is exposed and arranged in four bays, featuring arch-braces and brick nogging. There are 20th-century leaded casement windows. A plain door is sheltered by a thatched canopy supported on a cartwheel.
