Description

Throop House Cottage is a late 18th-century building located on the north side of Throop Road. It is constructed of brick with a thatched roof and has two storeys, featuring two windows across its front. The brickwork consists of red stretchers and grey headers. A small new gabled porch is present at the entrance. The ground floor windows have segment-headed shapes with stucco lintels, while the first-floor windows extend up into the eaves. The gable walls are made of cob. Additionally, there is a small single-storey brick annexe to the east of the cottage.
