Description

A farmhouse, dating from circa 1600, with 19th-century alterations. The upper wall displays an exposed timber frame with brick infill, while the remaining walls are of painted brickwork, set on a cement plinth. The roof is tiled, hipped at the west end, and extended with a low eaves above an outshot. The north front has two storeys and four windows above two, featuring casement windows. Two plain doorways are present. A stable of mid-19th century date extends forward from the east side, constructed with boarded walls and a slate roof. The building possesses group value from this prominent setting.
