Description

No 34 on West Street is an early 19th-century house and shop. It features painted brickwork and a tiled roof, standing two storeys high with one window. The upper floor has a casement window made up of three frames, each containing two round-headed lights. The ground floor includes a rectangular bay that serves as a shop window, topped by a continuous moulded canopy supported by elaborate scroll brackets. The door frame is plain and has three round-headed panels. At the rear, there is a long extension with an irregular elevation leading to a passageway, showcasing vernacular architectural features.
