Description

No. 38 West Street is a house dating from the 18th century, which was refronted in the early 19th century. It is built of stucco and has a tile roof. The building is two storeys high and features two windows. The exterior includes a plinth and rustications, which are grooves on the ground floor, along with keystones that connect to a band at the first floor. The windows are narrow sashes arranged in three lights. The doorway is adorned with a pediment supported by brackets and has a six-panelled door, two of which are glazed at the top. At the rear, there are older brickwork extensions.
