Description
No 29 on West Street is a house with two shops, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. It features painted brickwork and a tiled roof, standing two storeys high with an attic and two windows. The walls are constructed in Flemish bond, with a first-floor band that is interrupted by lowered windows and a plinth at the base. The building has modern flat-roofed dormers with casement windows, while the first floor has sash windows set in reveals. The late 19th-century shopfront consists of two angular bays beneath a continuous canopy, leading to a deep entrance that serves the two shops.
