Description
No. 33 West Street is an 18th-century house located in New Alresford. The building is finished in stucco and topped with a tile roof. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring three windows. There is a single flat-roofed dormer with casement windows. The upper windows have plain architraves, with the central window being arched within a rectangular frame that includes a moulded cornice and cill brackets. The side windows are three-light sash windows, while the ground floor has two 20th-century Georgian-style bow windows. The entrance features a doorcase with an open pediment and a dentil cornice, which is broken at each side by elaborately scrolled brackets. It also has thin pilasters, an architrave, panelled reveals, and a six-panelled door that is accessed via stone steps. There is a rear wing attached to the house.
