Description

Nos 18 and 20 West Street are houses above shops, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. They are constructed of stucco and feature a tiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic and have two windows on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The hipped dormers contain casement windows. There is a first-floor band that is interrupted by later window openings, which also have casements. The mid-19th century shopfronts are located under canopies, with No 18 supported by three brackets and No 20 featuring Gothic panes. Both shops have half-glazed doors.
