Description
The building is a house that has been converted into a post office, dating from the 18th century. It features a stucco exterior and a tile roof. The symmetrical front faces north and consists of two storeys and an attic, with five windows. The design includes a parapet with coping stones, a moulded cornice, a moulded band at the first floor, stone cills, and a plinth. The windows are Victorian sashes, with three 20th-century flat-roofed dormers also featuring sashes. The entrance has a Doric doorcase with an open pediment and broken cornices above three-quarter columns that have plain shafts and fluted necking. The doorcase includes panelled reveals, an arched opening with a radiating fanlight, and a six-panelled door, all set on stone steps. The tile roof is equipped with lead hopper heads and downpipes.
