Description

Nos 17 and 19 High Street are two-storey buildings with an attic, likely dating from the 18th century or earlier, and featuring some alterations. The buildings have a stucco exterior and a parapet above, with blank recesses. There is a cill band at the second floor level. At the first floor, there are three sash windows with glazing bars and an arched casement window. The shop fronts have wooden cases, with No 17 dating from the late 19th century and No 19 from the mid-19th century. These buildings are part of an important street range. Nos 13 to 19 (odd) form a group with Nos 11 to 13 (consecutive) in the Market Place.
