Description

These buildings at 13 and 13A High Street are likely from the 18th century, although they have been altered subsequently. They are a two-storey structure with a stucco exterior, featuring lined and painted detail. The roof is slate-covered and includes a casement dormer window. The first floor has three flush frame sash windows with glazing bars. The left side has a 19th-century shop front. On the ground floor, a former sash window has been replaced with sheet glass, and an entrance is located on the right, featuring a pediment and consoles above an altered, glazed door. Buildings 13 to 19 (odd numbers) form a group with numbers 11 to 13 on Market Place.
