Description

Nos 2 and 4 High Street are 18th-century buildings constructed of brown brick with a slate roof and a low parapet featuring a stone coping. The buildings are two stories high with attics, and they include three casement dormers with glazing bars. On the first floor, there are four sash windows, also with glazing bars, and two Georgian doorways. The initials "AR" are scratched into the stone in the center of the blank panels on the first floor. The ground floor on the left corner has been modernized for a shop. Nos 2, 4, and 8 to 12 (even) are part of a group with No 49 Priory Road.
