Description

Nos 2 and 3 Market Place is an 18th-century building that has been altered. It is constructed of carstone and brick, with a painted brick front. The first floor features two square wooden casement bay windows that have horizontal glazing bars and moulded cornices. The roof is covered with machine tiles. The building includes an early or mid-19th-century projecting shop front that has splayed bays and a central entrance recess, topped with a continuous enriched entablature. Nos 2 to 6, which are consecutive, form a group.
