Description
Nos 3 and 5 Winwick Street is a mid-18th century house that has been converted into offices. The building stands three storeys high and is constructed of brick on a stone base, featuring a stringcourse, a stone cornice, and a slate roof. The central entrance has a six-panel door set in a moulded stone case topped with a pediment supported by small brackets, along with an unusual fanlight designed with segmental bars. The ground floor includes four sash windows, while the upper floors have five sash windows, all with glazing bars, moulded stone architraves, and stone sills. The interior is reported to have an Adam-type ceiling and mantelpiece. Nos 1 to 7 (odd) form a group.
