Description
The National Westminster Bank is a Victorian bank building located at 7 Winwick Street. It is three storeys high and constructed of brick and stone. The facade features Composite pilasters that separate the seven bays. Above the doorway, there is a pediment, and carved panels are positioned over the central windows. Each storey is adorned with ornamented cornices, and the top of the building has a parapet with a raised pediment decorated with scrolls. A carved panel above the doorway displays the words "Old Bank" in raised lettering. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 7 (odd), which are good neighbours to Nos 3 and 5.
