Description

Nos 8 and 9 Market Place are a pair of early to mid-19th century buildings. The rear of the building is constructed of carstone, while the front is faced with yellow brick. The building is three storeys high and features three windows, with a slightly recessed wing on the left-hand side providing a vehicle way underneath. The windows have glazing bars and are topped with gauged flat arches. An arched, blank panel runs through the first and second floors, with panels situated below a coping stone. Nos 8 to 10 Market Place form a group with No 10 Bridge Street and No 26 High Street.
