Description

ALFRED SQUARE 1. 1035 (South Side) Nos 9 and 10 TR 3753 SE 2/174 II GV 2. Early C19 pair. 3 storeys and basement. The ground floor is stuccoed. The upper floors are of yellow brick. Cement coping. 4 sashes with glazing bars intact. The 1st floor has 2 3-light bays on each end. The ground floor has 2 sashes and 2 round-headed doorcases with 5 panelled doors. No 9 has 2 blank arcaded panels and a round-headed yard entry to the extreme right. Nos 9 to 13 (consec) form a group together with Nos 187 & 189 Middle Street.
