Description
Nos 57-59 Southover High Street is a row of houses built in the early 19th century. The building is finished in stucco, with the ground floor featuring rustication except at the far left and right ends, and it has a decorative band. The roof is plain tiled with a coped parapet, an end stack on the right, and a ridge stack towards the left end. There are three hipped dormers. The houses are two storeys with attics and have slightly irregular window arrangements, with five windows on the first floor and four on the ground floor. All windows are sashes without glazing bars, except for a bipartite sash in the center of the first floor. The entrance to No 57 is through a panelled door in a projecting porch on the far right, while Nos 58 and 59 have panelled doors in the center and to the right, both with fanlights, the right door set in an arched recess. There is a segment-headed archway leading to the rear of the property.
