Description
No. 13 Market Place is a building that likely dates from the 17th century and has been altered over time. It is two storeys high with three windows on the first floor, featuring sash windows with glazing bars and flat arches that are stuccoed to resemble voussoirs. The first floor is constructed of red brick and has rusticated quoins made of stucco. The eaves are supported by coupled brackets, and the roof is covered with machine tiles. The shop front is made of wood, featuring glazing bars, pilasters, and a central entrance. This building, along with Nos. 11, 12, and 13, is part of a group with Nos. 13 to 19 on the odd side of High Street.
