Description

The Town Hall, built in 1887 by J J Johnson of London, is designed in a free Renaissance style and constructed from white brick with small carstone panels. The building features an asymmetrical front, with the center rising to a cupola topped with a vane. The east face, which faces the Market Place, has two storeys and five windows, along with a central entrance. The roof is made of slate.
