Description

These are four buildings on Castle Street, dating to the 18th century but with a facade redone in the early to mid-19th century using stucco. The roofs are steeply pitched, tiled at the front and slate at the rear. The buildings are two stories tall and feature seven sash windows, mostly with glazing bars, with a modern casement window towards the right and a central modern shop front. Number 4 has a rear wing. Numbers 1 to 9 (consecutive), 11, 12, and 12A form a notable group.
