Description

The Red House is an 18th-century building located on the south side of High Street. It is constructed of red brick and features a steeply pitched hipped roof. The house has three storeys and is adorned with a wooden eaves cornice that includes dentils and modillions. There are five sash windows set in reveals beneath flat arches, and these windows do not have glazing bars. A central Roman Ionic porch enhances the entrance, complete with an entablature, modillion cornice, and a pediment. Additionally, there are four segmentally headed easement dormers.
