Description

This is an early to mid-19th century building on Castle Street. It is constructed of plum-coloured brick with red brick dressings and a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has two sash windows with glazing bars, set within reveals and topped with flat arches. A modillion cornice details the doorway. A small shop window features pilasters, and a simplified entablature decorated with paterae. Numbers 1 to 9, together with numbers 11, 12, and 12A, form a notable group.
