Description
This is an early 19th-century building on Castle Street, comprising two properties, number 12 and 12A. It is constructed of brick with stucco dressings, quoins, and a channelled ground floor. The roof is slate, finished with a dentil cornice. The building is three stories high, featuring two arched sash windows with glazing bars. These windows are embellished with pilasters, archivolts, and keyblocks. The ground floor is divided into two shops, with a continuous frieze and cornice above. Each shop has segmentally arched windows and slim, half-glazed doors. Numbers 1 to 9, 11, 12, and 12A form a group.
