Description
No 1 and 3 West Street is a house and shop, now used as an office, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. The building features a rendered front with painted brickwork on the sides and a half-hipped tile roof. It has two storeys and an attic, with two windows. The front displays Victorian sash windows, with one above two on the upper floor. The ground floor includes a shopfront with an angular bay and an entrance on the west side, all beneath a continuous canopy supported by brackets above pilasters. The east side and rear have 20th-century sashes and casements, while the rear also features a plain doorway with a boarded door. These elevations maintain an older appearance and are prominently visible from the footpath that runs through the churchyard.
