Description
Lloyds Bank is a former house dating from the late 18th century that has been modernised. The building is constructed of brick and features a tiled roof. It has a symmetrical front facing north, consisting of two storeys and an attic with five windows. The red brickwork is laid in Flemish bond and includes rubbed flat arches, a flush blue header band at the first floor, and stone cills. The windows are sashes set in reveals. The entrance features a doorcase in the Ionic Order, complete with an open pediment, a broken cornice, and three-quarter smooth columns. The arched opening contains panelled reveals, a radiating fanlight, and a six-panelled door, all set on stone steps. Additionally, there are three 20th-century flat-roofed dormers with sashes and a modillion cornice that returns at the east side.
