Description

Bleak Cottage is a 16th-century timber-frame cottage, which has been renovated in the 20th century. The walls are of exposed timber framing with painted brick infill, with later 20th-century brickwork at the south end. The roof is tiled, with a half-hipped design to the north and a hipped design to the south. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, and has an irregular arrangement of windows, which are casements. A porch is located on the west end, and is associated with a garage wing. Inside, a Tudor-style fireplace with a wood frame is present.
