Description

Marriners Cottage is a 16th-century cottage featuring a three-bay timber frame, with outshots at each end and a 20th-century extension to the north. The cottage has an exposed frame with brick infill, while the other walls are made of brickwork. It has a hipped thatch roof that slopes down to low eaves at each end and above the north extension. The building is two storeys tall with an attic and has irregularly placed windows, which are casements, along with plain doorways.
