Description

Exton House is a late 18th-century house with rear extensions dating to the early and mid-19th century. The front of the house is stuccoed and features a parapet and moulded cornice, with stone sills. The other walls are of painted brickwork in a Flemish Garden Wall bond. It has a hipped half-hipped and gabled tile roof.

The south front elevation is wide and symmetrical, with two storeys and five windows. The windows are sashes, with triple windows above the central entrance. A wide, open, half-octagonal porch displays two pilasters and two columns of a simple Tuscan order, a concave metal roof, an arched doorway, and a radiating fanlight. The rear extensions are in a vernacular style, with casement windows.
