Description

The Homestead is a cottage dating from the 18th century, featuring a timber frame with a 19th-century outshot. The walls display an exposed frame with painted brick infill, a boarded outshot, and a tile-hung upper part on the south wall. The roof is thatched and hipped at the south end, with a separate hipped roof over the outshot. It includes an eyebrow dormer and a gabled dormer with a tiled roof, cheeks, and aprons. The building has one storey and an attic, with irregularly placed windows that are casements. There is a plain doorway situated in a small gabled wooden porch.
