Description
Fairholme Cottage is a 17th-century timber-framed cottage with early 19th-century and later 20th-century cladding and minor extensions. The exterior features roughcast walls, with the west gable displaying brick-nogged framing that continues around to the north side. There is a long rear outshot made of brickwork. The roof is hipped and thatched, with the lower part of the front having a tiled section that includes two gabled dormers. The south front elevation consists of one storey and an attic, featuring two windows above four windows. On the west side, there is a small window positioned below the eaves and above a low-level window. The windows include casements, one early 19th-century sash, and a French window on the east side. The entrance has a four-panelled door set within a plain frame.
