Description

This is a 16th-century cottage, restored and constructed with timber framing and painted brick infilling, topped with a hipped tiled roof. The cottage is two storeys high, with the upper storey slightly overhanging the lower. Both the north and south frontages have an overhanging upper storey, supported by brackets at the ends of the floor joists. There are two casement windows with three lights on each floor. A modern doorway has been inserted, but is designed in a Tudor style with carved spandrels.
