Description

Forge Cottage is an 18th-century building of red brick with a tile mansard roof, incorporating a dormer window with three lights. One side of the building is tile-hung. The cottage has two storeys and an attic. The front has two windows of three lights on each floor; the ground-floor windows are topped with segmental arches. A doorway was added later in the 19th century in a Tudor style, featuring carved spandrels and a four-centred head above the door.
