Description

The Post Office is a building dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is two storeys high, rendered, and has a Welsh slate roof. The façade features three windows with slightly segmental arches, which are later hung sashes with glazing bars. The doorway is adorned with wooden pilasters and a dentil cornice above a hood supported by brackets, and it has a radiating fanlight above a half-glazed door. A notable feature of the building is the bowed shop window, which also has glazing bars and a dentil cornice. The corner on the right side is canted at the ground floor to allow for carriage access. There is a 19th-century metal post office sign displayed on the building.
