Description

This barn, located 100 meters south-southwest of Shawlands Farmhouse, dates back to the 17th century. It features a timber-frame structure that is weatherboarded, with some sections made of flint and brick, and has a slate roof. The barn consists of five bays and includes an aisled design with a central projecting midstray that has a hip-roofed porch. The roof is half-hipped on the left side. Inside, there is a queen post roof supported by curved braces and windbraces.
