Description

White Culvers is an early 18th-century house that was refaced in the early 19th century. It has rendered walls, brickwork, and tile-hanging at the rear. The roof is tiled, with a hip to the west side and hip and gables to the rear wings. The north elevation has a regular façade of two storeys and four windows, featuring Victorian sash windows. The west elevation, facing Shore Lane, shows the lower rear wing, which projects slightly. This west-facing elevation has irregular fenestration with a mix of sash and casement windows, and includes the main entrance, sheltered by a canopy supported on brackets, leading to a six-panelled door.
