Description

Homedene is a house dating from the early 18th century, with later additions from the late 19th and 20th centuries. The walls are made of painted brickwork in Flemish bond, featuring rubbed flat arches, a first-floor band, and a cemented plinth. The roof is tiled. The symmetrical south front has two storeys with three windows, although the centre window is blank. The windows are mullion and transom casements. There is a 20th-century brick porch with a hipped tile roof and a lead fire-insurance sign. The rear of the house has extensions from the 19th century.
