Description
Bank House Registrar is an early 19th-century building originally comprising three residential units, with the two easternmost now serving as offices. The western unit is faced with stucco, featuring a low parapet with a plain cornice moulding, a plinth, and stone cills. The eastern section exhibits yellow brickwork in a Flemish bond pattern, also with a plinth, rubbed flat arches, stone cills, and a low parapet of brickwork with a wooden cornice moulding. Both sections have low-pitched slate hipped roofs. The eastern elevation is set back, and the facades are adapted to the curving street layout. The western unit is symmetrical, with two storeys and three windows, while the eastern unit is regular with two storeys and four windows, both featuring sash windows in reveals. A plain doorway is located at the west end, featuring a moulded canopy on brackets and a six-panelled door. The entrance to the eastern unit is at its western end, with a stucco architrave containing an arched head with a keystone, a plain fanlight, and a six-panelled door.
