Description

The Timbers is a house, originally two cottages, now combined into a single dwelling. The core of the house dates to the 17th century, with a 20th-century extension at the rear. The walls are a mix of exposed timber framing and brick infill, with some herring-bone brickwork. There is a small brick extension to the west, and tile-hanging above flintwork at the east gable. The roof is half-hipped and tiled. The north front has two storeys and displays four windows above five. The windows are casements. A doorway from the 18th century features a moulded canopy, architrave, and a two-panelled door.
