Description
Manor House is a house built in the early 18th century, with alterations and additions made in the mid-19th century. It features various wall finishes and has a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high. The north elevation is divided into five equal sections by brick pilasters in English bond, while the main walls are rendered. There is a brick plinth, with the three western bays containing sash windows. The other two bays have three blocked openings and one altered ground floor opening with a casement window. The front (east) side, which dates from the mid-19th century, is symmetrical with three windows, except for the north side gable at the east end of the north elevation. The walls on this side are roughcast and include stone-framed Tudor openings with casements, along with a plain doorway featuring a half-glazed door. At the rear, a narrower wing has been added within the L-shape of the main block, with its west gable constructed of flint, accented by brick quoins and bands.
